Take at look at https://sites.google.com/site/munigov20/ is a coalition of local/municipal governments focused on exploring the use and principles of Web 2.0 in an effort to improve citizen services and communication via technology. We have created this site and its accompanying documents as resources, best practices and the start of a community of like-minded peers who have a common interest in the concepts of 2.0 as they could and do apply to local government. The pages of this site are designed to put you in touch directly with the theories and practice of 2.0 in local government and the people who are pushing the envelope in each sub-category or technology. It's interesting that they have their weekly meetings in Second Life. Norm

tks, Norm. looks a great site. I wandered around for a bit and was amused by the secction entitled "our definition of Web 2.0" which had a long quote from Wikipedia but no very clear definition of Web 2.0. I appreciate the problem since Web 2.0 is probably not worth defining, but the heading makes it look as if they thought they would have a go and then suddenly got cold feet!
