Today an Internet discussion starts about the current state and future developments of eParticipation in Europe. It has been organised and will be moderated jointly by PEP-NET (Pan European eParticipation Network)  and the European eParticipation Study.

Issues to be debated are:

Existing and emerging technologies, channels, bottom-up vs top down, dangers, European public sphere, EU cooperation with other actors, EU learning experience, changes in nature of politics and institutions.

Please feel cordially invited to join the debate at:

Kind regards,

Rolf Lührs

Thanks, Rolf. I went in and added an idea. It looks an interesting project, although I did find it a little bit confusing. I imagine it will get easier to understand as more people get involved! I will try to follow what is going on and hope other people from this site will also get involved. (Maybe you can update us as the project moves quickly through its three stages).

Thanks Paul, much appreciated. I will follow up as the discussion evolves. There is also a feedback forum to give us hints on how to improve the plattform.

Bests,

Rolf
