John Seddon attacked by Audit Commission

John seddon has been subjected to a personal attack by the Audit Commission for being critical and suggesting that millions of pounds could be saved by reining the Commission back.

John argued that the evidence that he, his colleagues and legion of systems thinkers have, provide clear evidence that targets and standards and inspection are ruining services and inhibiting learning.

Since then an ever-growing groundswell has been arguing John's case and agreeing that the Audit Commission impose a target-based, top-down, tick-box, hierarchical view of the world.
